Here at "The Village Collector" our goal is to create a safe haven, allowing an escape from the daily grind and pressures, while providing Inspiration, Information & Fun for fans of lit villages. No worries about outdated pages. There's always new things to find and explore. Look for this "Dickens Top Hat" at the top of each page, to see when that page was last updated.

To help provide peace-of-mind, our site is "Certified Safe for All Ages". It's totally free, without ads, sponsors, or pop-up windows, and we do not sell anything. It does NOT require registration, passwords, fee or apps. We do not use cookies or tracking, and we don't even ask for donations. Whether you live in a mega-bucks high rise apartment in an exclusive neighborhood, or the poorest village in the poorest of countries, if you can get access to the internet, just "Click & Enjoy" for free. We try to make the site as visual as possible to make it easier to read and more entertaining. For our non-English speaking visitors, each page can be translated into over 100 languages with just a simple click. To help make it convenient to reach us, there's a "Contact Us" button at the bottom of every page. The "Breaking News" page highlights most new changes, but keep in mind that any page can change, at any time, so we encourage exploring.

​Even though we don't collect any information on our visitors, we understand that some people during these times are concerned about such things, so we have now rebuilt our entire website and it is listed as a "Safe Site" by Bravenet. Also, we will not post, nor link to, any photos or videos on TikTok, Facebook or Meta, etc. So, you and the whole family can relax, and explore over a hundred hours of constantly changing entertainment.  Please bookmark us, visit us often, and, of course . . . don't forget to tell your friends. From the start of TVC on May 20, 2017 to February 21, 2023,

we had been visited 360,982 times by 239,651 unique visitors

from 229 countries. (Just 14 flags short of every country in

the world) Then on March 6, 2023 we did a total rebuild of

the entire site and starting counting again from zero.

Thanks to our great community of villagers, we made #1 on the Google search list. It was brought to my attention on Sunday, July 26, 2020. I'm not sure when we made it, but at least since that day, TVC has continually stayed the top listing! And, as of April 13, 2024, we still are. Thank you fellow villagers!
